Five Year Fabric Repairs Contract for Havering Borough Council

In April 2021, UKG were contracted to undertake all fabric repairs, including concrete, brickwork and render, to properties and apartment blocks across a variety of housing estates within the boundaries of Havering Council District.

From the project outset, we have been involved through all stages of works from visiting sites, surveying, and providing quantified budget scopes of works at the pre-construction stage for our client, Buildtherm Property Solutions (BTS). These are then sent to Havering Council for section 20 leaseholder consultancy process to be carried out.

When each project goes live, we are responsible for surveying and validating repairs upon the erection of scaffolding. Once validated, UKG undertakes all required repairs to the blocks and leave them in a finished condition ready for the decorating contractor to complete coatings where required.

The works we are responsible for are inclusive of brick repairs and replacement, re-pointing, concrete repairs, render repairs, balcony re-builds and screeding to balcony floors. This project is expected to finish in March 2026.

The final finish effortlessly complements the architect’s vision for this housing estate.
