The most significant being elements of the considerable structural renovation of London landmark, Battersea Power Station, where our team used an extensive range of specialist skills, many which are required by Historic England, to respect the architectural importance of this most iconic of Grade II listed buildings.

External Refurbishment
UK Gunite provides external refurbishment and façade renovation services with projects ranging from small one-off jobs to large-scale local authority and housing association framework agreements through to specialist heritage projects to meet the exacting standards of Historic England.
Flat Roofing
We have developed a specific Flat Roofing service offering which includes Liquid Applied Roofing, RBM Roofing Systems, Supalux Board, Thermal Upgrades, and Overlay Systems as well as complete Strip Up. UKG are accredited members of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors.
Fire Risk Assessment
UKG provide a range of assessment and remedial services to ensure buildings are fully compliant with all regulations to mitigate the risk of fire. Our in-house fire risk assessment team will carry out a full evaluation of your premises to ascertain any gaps in compliance, and our ICATS certified team will carry out the works required to fill those.
Waterproofing
Whether your requirement is for a roof, balcony, basement, walkway, or car park, UKG has specialist experience using a comprehensive range of waterproofing products and is a member of the LWRA which ensures we work to best industry practice and have to meet stringent quality criteria.

Our Story.
UK Gunite, or as we are usually known, UKG, was originally incorporated in 1992 so we’ve been in business for over 30 years. The current owner, Daren Johnson, took over in 2002 and he is still a key part of our management team and a driving force behind the continued growth and direction of the business. UKG was originally very focused on delivering a range of concrete repair & associated services and has diversified over the years to become the specialist in a range of restoration and repair disciplines that the company is renowned for today.
